The "basket" is made up of two separate pattern pieces. The outer shell can be pulled onto the standard size chocolate or sweet tubs and then the inner circle inserted at the bottom. This means the whole item can be removed and washed easily - at an environmentally friendly 30 degrees, of course!
The pattern uses UK/Australian crochet terms, but these can be easily translated into US terminology. We would be only too happy to respond to any questions.
